Continuing our efforts to support your globally expanding business by making eCompliance accessible and easier to use for your employees around the world, we have undertaken work for additional language support. eCompliance now supports these new languages: Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Part of this endeavor is to allow for additional languages to be selected as a default site language.
How to change a Default Site Language in eCompliance:
- Log into eCompliance
- Click on the site name at the top of the page
- On the right under "Site Operations", click "Modify Site Information"
- Scroll down to "Default Language"
- Select the language you prefer from the menu
Which languages can be selected for a Default Site Language?
Currently you can select from English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, and Italian for a Default Language. We are currently working on adding support for Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional.
Do Default Languages override a User's preferred language settings?
No, a user's preferred language will display over the default language set for a site. For more information about Preferred Language Settings for employees please visit our support article here.
