This article clarifies how the inspection schedule works when a job profile is added, and the relationship between users, their job profiles, and site access.
Scenario #1: Form schedule created at Canada (parent site) for the job profile Manager > Adam DOES NOT have access to Canada but has access to Ontario (child site) with the job profile Manager
Adam does not receive the inspection schedule
Scenario #2: Form schedule created at Canada (parent site) for job profile Manager > Adam DOES have access to Canada with Job Profile Manager > and has access to Ontario (child site) with the job profile Manager
Adam only receives 1 scheduled inspection (does not duplicate)
Scenario #3: Form schedule created at Canada (parent site) for job profile Manager > Adam DOES have access to Canada with Job Profile Manager > and has access to Ontario (child site) with the job profile Worker
Adam receives the inspection schedule for Canada
Scenario #4: Form schedule created at Ontario (child site of Canada) for job profile Manager > Adam DOES NOT have access to Canada (parent site) with Job Profile Manager > but has access to Ontario (child site) with the job profile Manager
Adam receives the scheduled inspection
Scenario #5: Form schedule created at Ontario (child site of Canada) for job profile Manager > Adam HAS access to Canada (parent site) with Job Profile Manager > but DOES NOT has access to Ontario (child site), and has job profile Supervisor
Adam receives the scheduled inspection
-
Canada access is site and below (if user has access to parent then they are assumed permission for all of the sub sites - even if there are different job profiles)
Scenario #6: Form schedule created at Canada (parent) and assigned to job profile Manager > Adam has access to Canada site > Adam DOES NOT have any job profile
Adam does not receive the scheduled inspection
