This works similar to the employee lookup field. Once it is added to a form, when completing the form users can search for a company name and select the company. Both active and inactive companies will be displayed as options to select.
How many company names can be added to this field when completing the form?
Up to 100 company names
Can a user attach a company to a question type similar to how they can assign an employee or an asset?
No, they can not.
Does the company lookup question type have image, asset, and employee attachment options?
A user can only attach an image, asset, and write notes for the company lookup question type.
What happens when a template is created and has only one question which is a company lookup question type and published when companies module is enabled, but then. Companies module gets disabled
In this scenario, since the template has only one question, once Companies module is disabled the form with have no questions. To avoid this scenario eCompliance will not show the form in the list of templates under “Start new Inspection”. This applies to all forms in eC (inspections, incidents meetings)
