1. Email Login
Accounts can be set up with email and password login. This account relies on the simplest login procedure of the three types of login accounts.
Here's how to log in with an email and password account:
1. Open the app.
2. Enter your email address in the 'Email Address' field.
3. Tap Log In. A password field will appear.
4. Type in your password in the 'password' field.
5. Tap Log In. Once your credentials are authenticated, you will be directed to the app's home page.
2. Single Sign-On Login
Organizations may enable Single Sign-On for their employees, allowing them to access multiple services using a single set of credentials from an external Identity Provider (IdP) such as Okta, Azure, etc. When SSO is enabled, clicking the 'Log In' button will direct users to another view with the external IdP to continue the login process.
Here's how to login with SSO:
1. Open the mobile app.
2. Enter your email address in the blank field.
3. Tap 'Log In'. A prompt will appear to let you know that eCompliance would like to use the IdP to sign in.
4. Tap 'Continue' to open up an overlay window of the external Identity Provider.
4. When the new window with your IdP appears on the screen, your username will auto-populate in the username field. Fill in the rest of your login credentials in the blank fields.
6. Tap Sign In. If the connection is successful and your credentials are validated, the IdP window will close, and you will be directed to the eCompliance app.
3. Username Login
When employee accounts are created, the manager or admin user is provided with a randomly generated temporary password. The manager or admin user must supply new employees with this temporary password for their initial sign-in.
Here's how to login with username:
1. Open the mobile app
2. Toggle on the 'Log in with username' option above the login fields.
3. Enter the organization name, username, and password provided. Then, click on the 'Log In' button located at the bottom.
If you are a new user, a prompt will appear asking you to create a new password. Please make sure it is strong and follows our password security guidelines.
4. Click on the 'Save Password' button, and your account will be set up and ready to use. Please make sure to remember the password that you have set up during the previous stage, as it will be used moving forward unless changed. Note that an admin has the authority to reset the password if necessary.
