Offline Mode prevents draining battery searching for a signal or the system restarting uploads and
downloads when the signal is intermittent. The Field ID app will automatically toggle to Offline Mode if the device signal is intermittent or lost. Read more on working offline.
This feature requires organizations to clear workers' offline mobile collections consistently.
Without doing so, the app retains large amounts of data - the result will be poor performance, including but not limited to the following:
- app crashes
- editing but unable to save
To clear “Offline Data Collection” as either an Administrator, please do the following:
1) Click on your name in the top, right-hand corner of the screen.
2) Click on the “Mobile Offline Collection” tab
3) Either choose to remove individual assets or “clear the entire collection.”
