eC Mobile App: My Training

What is My Training?

My Training is the module in the eCompliance mobile app where users can go to complete mobile-friendly eLearning courses and record certificates for any training requirements assigned to them. It is also where they can view all their completed training certificates.

Who uses My Training? 

All users who have been sent an eCompliance invitation to login can download the app and view the My Training module.

Why use My Training? 

My Training allows users to complete their mobile-friendly eLearning courses as well as upload any required training certificates, from any location, without having to log into the web version on a computer. The ability to complete these actions from any location makes it convenient for users to meet their training requirements and therefore work safer.

When to use My Training

On mobile, My Training module can be used in the following situations:

• The user would like to view their training requirements
• The user has a requirement to complete a mobile-friendly eLearning course. Note: eLearning courses that are not mobile-friendly must be completed on the web version of eCompliance. Whether a course is mobile-friendly or not is determined by the course provider.
• The user has a requirement to complete a non-eLearning course. In this case, the user can view their training requirements and add certificates obtained outside of eCompliance for those training requirements.
• The user would like to view their completed training certificates

How to use My Training

View your training requirements

1. Open the eCompliance app and log in using your credentials
2. Tap My Training
3. The list of courses on this page are your training requirements
   • If there is a Launch Course button below the training requirement, it is an eLearning course.
   • If you tap the Launch Course button below the training requirement and you are able to view the course content, it is a mobile-friendly eLearning course.
   • If there is no Launch Course button below the training requirement, it is not an eLearning course.

Complete a mobile-friendly eLearning course

1. Open the eCompliance app and log in using your credentials
2. Tap My Training
3. Tap Launch Course underneath the mobile-friendly eLearning course
   1. Tap Start
   2. Navigate through the course content. Note: the method of navigation is dependent on the course.
   3. Once the course content is complete, tap + Certificates to view your completed certificates.

Add a certificate

1. Open the eCompliance app and log in using your credentials
2. Tap My Training
3. Tap Add Certificate under the appropriate course
4. Complete the following fields, if applicable :
   • Description
   • Vendor
   • Instructor
   • URL
   • Price
   • Duration 
   • Certificate Date (mandatory)
   • Certificate Expiration Date (mandatory)
   • Attachment
     • • Tap Upload from Device to upload certificate as attachment
         1. 1. If the image is alread saved on your device....
               • Select the location of the image on your device
               • Select the image
               • Tap Done
               • Note: this is the only option available for Android Users. Please make sure the image is already saved to your device before starting
            2. If the file (ie a PDF) is already saved to your device...
               
               • • Select the location of the file
                 • Select the file
            3. If you would like to take a new photo of the certificate
               • • Tap Take Photo or Video
                 • Take a photo of the certificate
                 • Tap Use Photo

5. Tap save

Note: The training requirement will remain under your My Training  with the status Certificate Submitted until it is approved by a user that has signoff authority at your site. Once the certificate is approved, the training requirement will be removed and the certificate can be viewed under View Completed Certificates.

View your completed certificates

1. Open the eCompliance app and log in using your credentials
2. Tap My Training
3. Tap View Completed Certificates
4. The list of certificates on this page are your completed training certificates. You can tap the pdf link under each certificate record to view the attachment
