Admins can change the password of an employee using the web version of our software. To reset a password for an employee who logs in with a username, scroll down to the bottom.
Email Login Employees
1. Go to the Employees module
2. Search for an employee
3. Click the icon in the View column
4. Click Reset Password
5. Enter a new strong password by following the requirements and tips provided.
- Use a password at least 10 characters long
- Create a passphrase with multiple words and spaces.
- Avoid using common words, famous quotes, or sayings.
- Avoid using parts of your phone number, first, middle, or last name, email, username, or organization name or company name.
6. Click Change Password.
Username Login Employees
Username employees need to first be issued a temporary password which they can use to set a new unique password on their own.
To reset the password of an employee who logs in with a Username, follow steps 1 to 4 above.
5. Enter a new Temporary Password or keep the one suggested.
6. Click Copy All to Clipboard to capture the Company Name, Username and Temporary password so you can share these details with the employee.
7. Immediately paste this information in another document or email before going to the next step to confirm everything has been captured correctly.
8. Click the check box to confirm you have copied the temporary password.
9. Click Save Password.
