Chrome 79 update caused local storage on mobile apps to be unexpectedly cleared

Google has fixed an issue that caused app users (world-wide) to lose data stored locally on their mobile apps, e.g. a form on the mobile app that was in a Draft state, and not yet submitted.
Google paused the rollout of Chrome 79 until the patch to fix the issue was released.
Phones that were first to auto-update with Chrome 79 experienced the loss of forms stored locally (on their device).
Whenever possible, we suggest that users Submit draft forms to ensure data retention and backups occur.
