It's a common scenario for users in the field to have the eCompliance app open but lose connectivity for some reason. While offline, they submit an action item or a form. When network connectivity is restored on the device, the eCompliance mobile app syncs the action item or form with our server - and this is the time that our system records.
For example, a user loses connectivity (and is in "offline" mode). They complete an inspection form and tap the "Submit for Sign-off" button at 09:59 a.m. At 10:05 a.m., the user's device regains connectivity - the inspection form will be recorded as having been submitted at 10:05am.
