Login
To login to Field ID please go the URL https ://"companyname ".fieldid.com and replace company name with the name of the company of whom you are trying to access. If you are not sure of the exact URL it can be found in the Welcome Email sent to you.
If this is your first time logging in please click on the link in your Welcome Email, if not then just enter the username and password provided to you by the account administrator.
Searching for your Assets
To search for assets owned by your company, click on Assets at the top. This will bring you to a new page that will allow you to select the criteria to filter your search by (for instructions on asset search view Asset Search). If you hit Run at the bottom of the screen without entering anything into any of the fields it will show you all of your company's assets that are in the Field ID account.
Printing Reports and Certificates
In Field ID you have the ability to print a copy of the inspection reports. This will create a PDF document that is saved to your computer and you can print it from your computer.
To print a report you need to first search for the events you want to print. To do this click on Reporting on the top of the screen. This will bring you to a new page that will allow you to select the criteria to filter your search by (for instructions on Reporting search view Reporting Search). After you have selected your criteria, hit Run at the bottom of the page to see the results of your search.
Find the report that you want to print and hover your mouse pointer over Actions (located to the right) and click print from the drop-down. This will save a PDF version of the report to your computer for you to print.
Alternately you can print more than one report at once. To do this select the reports you want to by clicking the checkboxes beside the reports. Once you have completed this, hover your mouse pointer over "Print" at the bottom of the screen and click "Print Selected Reports". The generated file will be available under the Downloads section under My Account.

Updating Asset Information
As a read-only user, there is only a limited number of fields in any asset that you will be able to edit. They are: Owner, Location, Reference Number, Purchase Order. To get started find the asset you would like to Edit and click on the Edit tab. This will bring you into a simplified edit screen where you can update the information.
FAQ
How do I get a new password?
If you have forgotten your password or just want to change it, you can accomplish this by clicking on the "I forgot my password" link on the login page. Please enter your username and a password reset email will be sent to you. If you do not receive the email contact your Field ID administrator to have them verify that your username has the correct email address assigned. Also you can contact your Field ID administrator and ask them to change the password for you manually.
How can I update my assets?
As stated above there are a limited number of fields that you can edit. To edit any of these fields click on Assets to search for the asset you want to edit. Enter your search criteria and click Run. Once you have found the asset you want to edit, click on the serial number to go to the asset page. Click the edit tab, change the appropriate information and click save when done.
Can I edit events?
You cannot edit any information for events. You can only view and print events.

You should contact your Field ID administrator for help.
