In Field ID you can provide your customers or contractors with their own username so they can login and view their assets, events, reports and certificates 24x7x365. There are three different types of users: Full, Lite and Read-Only. Typically customers or 3rd parties are provided a Read-Only account (also known as a Reporting account).
Types of Accounts
There are three different levels of accounts that you can provide your customer. This will depend on what you would like your customer to accomplish. Below is the matrix of what each different account type can accomplish:
Adding a New User
To allow your customer to create their own password unselect Assign Password and check Send a Welcome Email. (Send a welcome email must be checked in order for the user to receive their username and password)
You can revoke a users access to Field ID. This will remove their ability to access all information within Field ID. To revoke access go to Setup and click on Owners, Users and Locations then click on Manage Users. Find the user from the list and click on Archive. If you need to reinstate that user's access all you have to do is click View Archivedand click unarchive next to the user.
