On May 9th, 2024, along with the release of a fresh new look to our login page, we've added an additional option to your SSO settings to allow for the strict enforcement of logins via SSO.
With this enhancement, when implementing SSO at your organization, you can now decide if you also want to ensure your employees use this as the only means of logging into eCompliance.
When you select the option "Yes, I want to enforce login with SSO on the web" your employees will be directed to your identity provider from the login page.
Enabling SSO but leaving this new option OFF will give your employees the choice to either login the traditional way with email, or username, and password or with SSO.
This option is also available in the mobile SSO settings, and will be supported on mobile devices with the next release of our mobile application coming soon.
Until then, employees of organizations with SSO enabled on mobile will be subject to the strict requirement of only using SSO as the only means of logging into the eCompliance mobile application, introduced with the release of 7.17.0
Stay tuned for more details on the release of 7.17.2!
