On April 25th, 2024, we updated the experience for launching eLearning courses to offer seamless access to course content from the My Stuff page on the web, and My Trainings on mobile devices.
Previously the process was not user friendly, where employees were required to manually re-enroll themselves when re-taking a course. Failure to do so would prevent them from acquiring an updated training certificate when they completed the course.
To address this issue, we’ve enhanced this process to automatically enroll employees in the course and take them directly to the course player. They are no longer required to enroll themselves when taking a course. This auto-enrollment will be implemented on all courses, including courses with expired or soon-to-expire certificates, accessible on the mobile and web applications.
IMPORTANT: Following this update, users who have already started retaking their courses without first manually re-enrolling and have left the course in progress, will need to restart their courses from the beginning when they launch the course again. This will ensure they acquire the new certificate they need as proof of training.
How auto-enrollment works:
An employee will need to have an upcoming training available for the first time, or for renewal due to an expired or expiring certificate.
1. To take or retake a course, click the 'Launch Course' button under the course name in their eCompliance course list. The page will direct you straight to the course player.
3. Complete the course, including any applicable quizzes.
4. Similar to the previous experience, if you are on the web application, head back to the eCompliance web app and click the OK button on the course completion confirmation prompt to sync the completed status.
If you are on the mobile app, close the course when you've completed it to return to the mobile application. Pull down to refresh the page to sync the completed status.
The certificate will be issued to the user's eCompliance account only after the course has been synced on the web or mobile app.
