Log recordable injuries (OSHA 300 form) with eCompliance

Before you start, please make sure you have followed this article to set up Recordable Injuries feature in your account. Admin permission for the selected site is required to log recordable injuries. Also, Only incidents that are signed off can be submitted as 300 form.

Please follow the steps below to record an incident reported in eCompliance.

  1. Make sure you are at the site where OSHA is setup. If you are at the correct site, you should see Recordable Injuries tab on the left menu.
  2. Click on Incident/Hazard tab.
  3. Click on Recordable Incidents on the right menu.
  4. You will see a list of incidents that can be logged as recordable - all incidents that are signed off at the site as well as the site below that is not managing their own OSHA form. Click on Record Injury and you will be taken to OSHA 300 form.
  5. Fill out the information and you will see that the incident is already attached at View Incident field at the end.
  6. Click on Save to complete logging the recordable.

If you already had incidents recorded on files (PDF, JPEG etc) and want to record it on 300 form, you can do it following the steps below.

  1. Make sure you are at the site where OSHA is setup.
  2. Click on Recordable Injuries tab.
  3. Click on Create 300 log.
  4. Fill out the information fields. The last field is Attach Documents. Click on Choose File and browse your local hard drive for the file related to the incident you want to record then click on Open. Click on Add File and repeat the steps if you want to attach multiple files.
  5. Click on Save to complete logging the recordable.
