There are a number of changes that have been made to the course player for eLearning to provide learners with more information on their courses and enhance the overall experience.
With these changes there is a modified process for starting new courses and retaking courses. Please view the details below on these changes along with some additional information on some of the new buttons available.
These changes apply to the web and mobile app.
How to start a brand new eLearning course
To start a brand new course simply click on the "Start" button
Once selected you will automatically be enrolled into this course and you can begin learning.
How to retake an eLearning course
eLearning courses are retaken when the course certificate has expired or approaching expiration.
When you come to the course you will see the previous certificate that you obtained, This is the certificate from the last time you competed the course.
The first step is to re-enrol so that you can start the course from the beginning. If you simply click press "Start" without re-enrolling then you will not receive your new certificate upon completion, and the course will remain in the "Training" list "My Stuff" on web and mobile.
You must follow these 2 simple steps to re-enrol in the course and receive your certificate in eCompliance upon completion:
1. To start on a course click on the arrow icon to the right of the View button
Once you re-enrol you will see a note at the bottom of the screen in green that you have successfully enrolled.
2. Click on "Start"
How to view the course in full screen mode
To play the course in full screen, remove the text at the bottom of the page, click on the screen icon on the right hand side at the bottom of the page.
How to view the course details
To view the full course details while the course is playing, cool click on the arrow icon on the right hand side at the bottom of the page.
When clicked this area will expand to show the details for the course. When clicked a second time it will collapse to minimize this area.
