Overview
This enhancement enables Safety Managers to quickly locate critical safety information by determining which forms display on the form listing views.
Where does this filter appear?
This new filter appears on the top right corner on Open, Not Started and Locked tabs in the Inspections module, and on the Open and Locked tabs for Incidents/Hazard, and Meetings modules.
How does it work?
Select a date range and it will show all the forms in the listing view that fall within that range. On Open or Locked forms, will be based on the Last Updated date, and for Not Started inspections, the Created Date.
For example, selecting “Past 90 days” on the Open Inspections tab will show all forms that have been updated within 90 days or less.
The date ranges available for selection are:
- Past 30 days
- Past 60 days
- Past 90 days
- Past 6 months
- Past year
- Past 2 years
- Older than 2 years
Does it affect the other filters and search functions within the listing view?
It will only affect the total number of forms in the specific module and not impact the behaviour of the other functions in the column headers of the listing view. You can still search and filter the forms that show in the view.
For example, selecting “Past 30 days” in the Inspections Module will only show forms for the past 30 days in this specific module, and not in the Incidents/Hazard, and Meetings modules.
How will exports from the listing view be affected?
The total number of forms included in the exports will correspond to the forms shown in the listing view as controlled by your selection in the Date Range filter.
Will my selection be remembered?
The default selection on the filter will be “Past 90 days”. Your selection will be remembered across the Open, Not Started and Locked tabs in the Inspections module, and in the Open and Locked tabs for Incidents/Hazard, and Meetings modules. It will not persist across modules. This means that you can have different date range preferences saved for Inspections, Incident/Hazard and Meetings modules.
Does this mean that my data will load faster?
The time to load depends on the total amount of data that you have within the selected date range. When choosing “Past 2 years” or “Older than 2 years” you may experience a longer wait time than when choosing a narrower date range, such as “Past 30 days”.
