We understand that seeing an Upload Failed message on your app is frustrating when attempting to submit your forms for work. The good news is that it is easy to remedy this issue.
The Upload Failed message can come up in a few situations:
- Your app isn't updated to the latest version
How do I fix this?
Head to your device's app store and search for eCompliance. Tap the 'Update' button under or next to the app name to update the app. Once the latest version is installed, relaunch the app and resubmit the forms.
You can check for the latest version number on the eCompliance release page. We also recommend turning on auto-updates for your app to avoid having to manually update the app when a new release is available. For a detailed guide on how to enable auto-updates for Samsung and Apple devices, see the article here. - Unstable network connection causing a mobile-to-web app desync
How do I fix this?
Login to my.ecompliance.com and check the form modules (Inspections/Incidents/Meetings) to see if the form has already been submitted. If it has already, the Upload Failed message can be ignored and your manager can see that the form has already been uploaded.
If the form is not on the web app, resubmit the form on the mobile app.
