Overview

Advanced Search is another feature that can be used to search for assets existing in your site. There are a number of parameters that can be used to narrow down your search results outside of the search filters. 

To open up Advanced Search, click on the Search button on the navigation bar. Then, click on Advanced Search. 

Rules to follow:

• Each parameter used can be combined with 'AND' and 'OR'
  OR - If used, will return all results matching any of the search terms
  AND - If used, will return results only if all search terms are matched
• The date format will need to follow this format: dd-MM-yyyy
• If the query contains more than one word, please put the query in double quotation marks ""
• Special characters are not allowed in the search field. Using them will return no results.
• Search queries must have 4+ characters

Available Parameters:

Identifiers 

id - asset serial number

ref - asset reference number

rfid - the rfid number assigned to the asset

Dates

assetcreated - date of which the asset was created

assetmodified - date of which the asset was last modified 

assetidentified - date of which the asset was identified

Type

at - asset type

atg - asset type group

Owner

org - top level organisations

cu - customer name

div - division 

owner - sites under your top level organizations

assigned - name of the user/account that the asset has been assigned to

Users

usercreated - the user who has created the asset

usermodified - the user who has last modified the asset

identifiedby - the user who has identified the asset

Other

comments - the comments entered for the assets. Partial search is allowed

po - purchase order

order - order number

lasteventdate - the date of which the event for the asset was submitted

Customer Attributes

Custom attributes can be searched by all lowercase and no spaces. eg, Working Load would be workingload="21 Tons"
