In the 'Documents' module, you may see that some documents have the option to upload a new version, while some don't.
There are a few reasons why this may be the case:
- The document may be listed at a different site. To check which site the document is located, please look at the "Site" column in the documents listing. Navigate to the site where the document is located to get access to the feature's button.
- Your account may not have the permission to make edits to documents. If you are inquiring about your account permissions, please contact a member of your site's administration.
- Documents generated from published Hazard Assessments will not have an option to upload a new version available. This is because the document is in use by the Hazard Assessment. Only those documents created under the 'Documents' module has the option to upload a new version. See screenshot below for an example.
The first listing is a document generated from a Hazard Assessment. The second listing was created from the 'Documents' module. The buttons to upload a new version is highlighted in the red box.
