1. Default Permission Groups
When starting eCompliance, you'll see five default available permissions you can assign to your site's employees.
Basic Access:
This is the default permission group assigned to an employee when their employee profile is created. Non-login employees such as terminated employees and employees without activated accounts will be automatically assigned with this permission. When a terminated account is reactivated, the employee maintains all previous training records and completed items.
An employee with the Basic Access permission can access the 'My Stuff' and Home modules.
If the employee is able to login with a basic access account, any items assigned to them can be access from their 'My Stuff' dashboard.
Employees will only be able to login and access eCompliance features after activating their account through the steps taken in a sent email invitation from their site admin.
* NOTE
Once an employee accepts an invitation to join eCompliance, a license is immediately consumed from the organization's account, and the employee's 'Can Login' status will change to 'Yes'. This process cannot be reversed without deleting the employee. Simply changing an employee's permission to 'Basic Access' will not free up the consumed license.

Admin:
- All toggles are on. An admin can access all modules and features except for OSHA exports. For more inquiries, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
2. Create New Custom Permission Groups
eCompliance admins can create new permission groups by following the given procedures, below:
1. Sign in with Admin your credentials to eCompliance
2. Click on the Employees Tab
3. Click on Manage Permission Groups
4. Click on Create new group
5. You can customize permission groups by adding specific user abilities
6. Assign permissions to the newly specified users and the permission group is created.
3. Changing Permission Levels for Employees
The following will help you add (or change) a permission level for a single existing user or new user.
The default permission level is Basic. Please note, the other baked-in permission levels enable a user higher access and the ability to make changes (Admin is the highest). As an Admin, you can change other users' access settings. We recommend you review permissions carefully when assigning to a user or group.
To change a permission level:
Click on the Employee Tab -> select the employee name (or create a new one if necessary).
Assign the user to a Site (or Sites), click on the default Basic Access button, and select the desired permission. Nb. Users can have a different permission for any number of sites they may have access to in the program.

Click Save to save these settings.
